Daisy cultivation methods and precautions

Daisy cultivation methods and precautions

1. Breeding methods

1. Potting soil: The potting soil used for growing daisies should have good air permeability. It is recommended to use clay pots or ceramic pots. If you want it to be more ornamental, use ceramic pots. The soil must be fertile to a certain extent, and leaf mold, garden soil and peat soil can be mixed together for cultivation.

2. Temperature: The temperature suitable for its growth is around 18-22℃. It will grow better if it maintains a suitable temperature. The temperature during flowering should be maintained at around 10-25℃. When the temperature is lower than 10℃, the growth rate of the plants will slow down.

3. Light: It prefers sunlight, especially during the period of vigorous growth and flowering. Only with proper light can it grow and bloom better. However, it can also tolerate partial shade.

4. Water: Daisies are suitable for growing in moist soil. Wait until the water in the pot dries up before watering them, but do not let their roots be soaked in water for a long time, as this will easily cause root rot. In addition, during the rainy weather, attention should be paid to drainage to prevent rainwater from accumulating in the flower pots.

2. Precautions

During the flowering period of the plant, it should be pruned in a timely manner, mainly to prune off the dead flowers. This will not only reduce the loss of nutrients in the potting soil, but also help the growth of inflorescences. Be careful not to prune too much so as not to affect its normal flowering.
