How to grow Paris polyphylla seedlings

How to grow Paris polyphylla seedlings

1. Soil selection

If you want to grow Paris polyphylla seedlings better, you need to choose the best soil. It is best to prepare soil containing organic matter and strong drainage before raising seedlings. It is also good to add an appropriate amount of base fertilizer to the cultivation soil, which is conducive to seed growth and seedling raising.

2. Seed Collection

The seeds are removed from the ripe fruit, or they can be purchased. No matter which method is used to obtain seeds, moldy or damaged seeds cannot be used. Such seeds are useless for seedling cultivation. You should try to choose seeds that are fuller and more mature.

3. Processing

Mix the seeds with fine sand, rub off the skin, and then wash them with clean water. After washing, soak the seeds in carbendazim, and then soak them in diluted rooting water. About 8-12 hours will be enough. Finally, place the seeds in a room at room temperature, keep them moist and turn them over frequently, and store them for 3-4 months.

4. Seedling cultivation

When sowing, you can use the spot sowing method or the scattered sowing method. After sowing it into the soil, cover it with a layer of soil 1.5-2cm thick. During the seedling raising period, there should be no direct sunlight and the soil should be kept moist. It will take about 3-4 months for the seedlings to grow.
