How to grow Aloe Queen

How to grow Aloe Queen

1. Soil

It is a succulent plant. The soil for cultivation should be air-permeable, loose and fertile. It can be prepared by mixing sand, leaf mold and perlite. Before potting, add an appropriate amount of ash to the soil to supplement nutrients, which can meet the needs.

2. Lighting

It likes light, so when caring for it, place it in the light and be careful to avoid strong light. Generally, you can place it outdoors in the morning and move it to a dark place at noon. It has poor shade tolerance and is best not to be placed in a cool place for a long time.

3. Watering

Do not water too frequently during maintenance. Water more often during the growing season to keep it moist, but be careful not to allow water to accumulate, otherwise the roots will easily rot and the plant will wither. It is drought-resistant, so it is best not to water it unless the soil is dry. Pay attention to the amount of water each time you water it.

4. Fertilization

Fertilize frequently during maintenance, especially during the peak growth season, and apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. Only with sufficient nutrients can the plant grow more vigorously. When applying fertilizer, you can use diluted fertilizer solution and loosen the soil together to allow the soil and fertilizer solution to be fully mixed, which can promote growth.

5. Pests and diseases

During its growth period, it is susceptible to brown spot, anthracnose and leaf blight, which will affect its growth and cause wilting. When it is discovered, spray pesticides in time to control it. Bordeaux solution can be used. During later maintenance, pay attention to more ventilation, maintain air circulation, and reduce the chance of disease.
