How to grow the succulent plant Jade Fan

How to grow the succulent plant Jade Fan

1. Cultivation conditions

1. Jade fan is suitable for semi-sandy soil mixed with mud pond soil, which is loose and breathable and not prone to water accumulation. Good for plant growth.

2. The growth of jade fan depends on sufficient sunlight and temperature. For example, if the sun is too strong in the summer, you can shade the plant, and place it in a warm place in the winter. Its preferred growth temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius, and it will stop growing when the temperature drops below 5 degrees Celsius.

3. When watering the jade fan, generally water it thoroughly at one time, and then water again after the soil is completely dry. Also keep the soil moist, but not too wet. When the weather is unusually dry, you can use a sprayer to spray the leaves, just enough water to see, without any water droplets.

4. When fertilizing the jade fan, you can use compound fertilizer or spray liquid fertilizer on the leaves. You can also grind up small animal bones and use them as fertilizer. After fertilizing, it is best to place the jade fan in a ventilated and cool place.

2. Reproduction Methods

1. You can break off the small roots that grow out of the Jade Fan, dry the wounds and then plant them.

2. The leaves of Jade Fan are also very easy to survive. Break off the strong old leaves at the base, dry the wounds and insert them into nutrient soil to survive.

3. The young plants growing next to the Jade Fan can be removed, and the wounds can be dried before being planted.

4. It can also be propagated by sowing.

3. Pest and disease control

Jade fans generally do not have diseases and insect pests, but you should also pay attention to prevention and control. Generally, diluted garlic water or chili water is used for watering, and some dry leaves should be removed in time.
