How to grow and what to pay attention to when growing ground lotus

1. Soil

The ground orchid likes fertile, loose sandy soil. It is easier to survive when transplanted. If the temperature is suitable, the seedlings will grow in a few days.

2. Lighting

The ground orchid prefers milder light and should not be exposed to direct sunlight, especially in summer. If necessary, providing it with adequate shade will also be beneficial to its growth.

3. Temperature

The ground temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius and around 20 degrees Celsius, which is a suitable temperature for the growth of ground orchid.

4. Watering

When watering newly planted seedlings, water them thoroughly at once and keep the soil moist at all times.

5. Fertilization

After planting the ground orchid, apply organic soil fertilizer or wood ash around the plant. This will not burn the roots but will also promote its rapid growth.

6. Notes

1. When watering, avoid uneven watering. When the weather is dry, water appropriately. When there is heavy rain during the rainy season, the excess water must be drained out in time to prevent waterlogging.

2. When the temperature is low, such as below 10 degrees Celsius, the ground orchid needs to be moved indoors or into a high temperature shed to prevent frostbite.

3. Although the ground orchid likes sunlight, it cannot be too strong. Too strong sunlight will burn the leaves. Pay attention to ventilation and shade.

4. When applying fertilizer, it is generally recommended to use livestock manure and other fertilizers, and use well-rotted ones. During the growing season, top dressing should be applied in time to promote its growth and flowering.
