Cultivation methods and precautions of sweet alyssum

1. Soil

The requirements of sweet sweet osmanthus are not too high, mainly in three aspects: rich nutrition, good air permeability and drainage. Choosing suitable soil will help its future growth.

2. Temperature

Sweet sweet osmanthus likes warmth, and the most suitable temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees. The higher the temperature is, the better it is. Too high a temperature can cause great harm to the plant and may even cause its death. The temperature should not be higher than thirty degrees. Therefore, special attention should be paid in summer. When the temperature is too high, you can place it in an air-conditioned room, or take other cooling measures, and also provide shade and ventilation. It has good cold resistance and can survive the winter as long as it is not affected by frost. However, the temperature cannot be too low to ensure safety.

3. Lighting

Sweet sweet osmanthus prefers light and is slightly shade-tolerant. In summer, shade is needed to avoid direct sunlight. In other seasons, try to get as much sunlight as possible.

4. Watering

Sweet sweet grass prefers a slightly dry environment. Therefore, do not water too much at normal times, and the soil needs to be kept slightly dry. Be especially careful during the rainy season in summer and it is best not to get caught in the rain. The humidity of the air should not be too high, generally 40 to 60 percent is better.

5. Prevention and control of pests and diseases

There may be some diseases or insect pests during routine maintenance. The disease can be treated with carbendazim, spraying once every seven to ten days. For insect pests, use DDT and spray once every ten to fifteen days.
