How to grow ruby flowers

How to grow ruby flowers

1. Lighting

It is shade-tolerant and is afraid of strong light exposure. It can be kept in a bright place indoors all year round. Insufficient light will affect the ornamental value, making the leaves smaller and the color of the leaves dull and lackluster. It needs shade in the summer and cannot be exposed to the sun, otherwise it will get burned, affecting its ornamental value.

2. Watering

Because it prefers moisture, you just need to keep it moist during the growing season. In the summer, due to the high evaporation, you can add a little more water. Water it 1-2 times a day. When the air is drier, you also need to spray the leaves 2-3 times. In winter, it needs to be kept relatively dry and not too much water should be applied.

3. Fertilization

It likes fertilizer and needs sufficient nutrients during the growing season. A thin fertilizer can be applied every 1-2 weeks, and the cycle can be extended in winter. If too little fertilizer is applied, the plant's color will become dull and its growth will become weak, reducing its ornamental value.

4. Temperature

It likes a warm environment and cannot tolerate cold. The temperature for wintering needs to be kept above 15℃ and not lower than 10℃, otherwise the leaves will turn yellow.
