How to raise Tia

How to raise Tia

1. Maintenance methods

1. Soil: The soil used for cultivation must have good air permeability. It is not recommended to use heavy clay soil, which will affect the breathing of the roots of Tia. It is best to add some bone meal to the bottom of the flowerpot and some river sand on the surface of the soil.

2. Light: There must be sufficient light in spring, autumn and winter. If the light is too weak, the plant will grow too tall and the shape will be loose. It should be kept in a cool place in summer and not exposed to direct sunlight.

3. Water: Water should be replenished in time during the period of vigorous growth, and water should be made thoroughly when the soil is dry. The temperature is higher in summer, so you should water less. In winter, the soil should not be too moist, and it is best to keep it slightly dry.

4. Ventilation: The breeding environment should have good ventilation. If it is raised indoors, you should open windows more often. Although it has good ventilation when grown outdoors, be careful not to expose it to rain.

2. Breeding Methods

You can use leaf cuttings or branch cuttings. When using leaf cuttings, you should use leaves that are relatively strong. Break them off from the mother plant, dry them, place them flat on the substrate and maintain a certain humidity. The method for branch cuttings is the same. Prepare the stems and branches to be used, dry them slightly, and then insert them obliquely into the substrate.
