How to take care of the newly bought Frost Morning

1. How to deal with the newly purchased Frost Morning

If you have just bought a bare-root succulent plant online, you should first trim off the shriveled fibrous roots, let it dry for 2 days, prepare moist soil, and plant the succulent plant in a pot. Do not water or expose the plant to sunlight within a week. Wait until the soil is completely dry before watering again after a week, and gradually increase the light intensity. If you buy succulent plants with pots at a flower market or flower shop, you can move them directly to the sun and water them thoroughly when the soil is dry.

2. How to care for the newly bought Frost Morning

1. Light: Frost Morning likes light. Sufficient light can make the tips of the succulent leaves turn pink and cover the leaf surface with a thick layer of white powder. Succulent plants will grow tall if they lack light, so except for the summer midday when they need proper shade, they should be exposed to the sun all day in other seasons.

2. Temperature: Frost Morning prefers a relatively cool environment. It needs shade and cooling during the high temperature period in summer. The low temperature in winter can keep the succulents in a beautiful color, but the maintenance temperature should not be lower than 5℃ to avoid frostbite.

3. Watering: Frosty morning glory is more sensitive to water. During the peak growing seasons in spring and autumn, water the plant immediately after the soil is completely dry, and water it thoroughly. During the high temperature period in summer, you should pay attention to water control and keep the soil in the pot dry. In winter, the temperature is low and the light is poor, so you should water less to avoid the succulents growing too tall.

4. Note: In summer, the temperature is high and the humidity is high, and black rot is particularly prone to occur in the morning frost. When growing outdoors, avoid continuous rainy days. When growing indoors, keep the potting soil dry and ventilate frequently. Spray carbendazim once every half a month in late spring to prevent the occurrence of various diseases.
