How to raise Jingzhi Huajin

How to raise Jingzhi Huajin

The habit of this plant

Let’s talk about sunlight first. We said above that if the sunlight passes through the transparent part of its leaves, it will look very beautiful, and the longer the sunshine time, the color can change from white to golden yellow. Well, of course we can't help but shine light on it. However, it should be noted that it reacts strongly to scorching light, so it is best not to expose it to direct sunlight. In addition, it does not require much water, and its roots are prone to rot if the soil is waterlogged for a long time. Also, it likes loose soil.

Specific methods

Sunlight: In view of the requirements mentioned above, in order to achieve the goal, we can place it behind the glass to let it receive sunlight, or we can place it in other semi-shaded or scattered light places. No matter where you place it, just don't let it be exposed to direct sunlight, especially in summer. In addition, the lighting time should not be too long, otherwise the plant will easily grow too tall and its shape will be destroyed.

Water: You can water it more in spring and autumn. This will make it grow in clusters and look very beautiful. When the temperature is very high in summer, you should reduce the amount and frequency of watering appropriately, but you can spray some mist or sprinkle some water into the air. Of course, you can't water it too much in winter. First, its growth rate is very slow and the demand is not large, and you must also pay attention to prevent freezing.

Soil quality: In order to meet its requirements for loose soil, you can choose to mix perlite, peat, copper sand, etc., and add a slightly smaller amount of perlite. In addition, it is best not to use vermiculite as a substrate, as it can easily damage the root system of this plant.
