Generation-by-generation farming methods

Generation-by-generation farming methods

1. Soil

In its maintenance, there are not too many requirements for the soil, but the basic needs such as fertility and good drainage need to be guaranteed. Slightly acidic or neutral soil is very suitable. Do not use alkaline or compacted and heavy soil, as it will greatly hinder the growth of the plants.

2. Watering

Water must be applied in moderation, and it can be applied more frequently, but in small amounts. Just keep it moist at all times. If the soil in the pot is too wet or too dry, it will have a bad effect on growth. In spring and summer, you can water it once a day, which can fully guarantee the needs. However, be careful to avoid watering at noon in summer to prevent the water temperature from being too cold and causing damage to the plant. You should also spray water mist appropriately. Water less in winter and keep the soil relatively dry.

3. Fertilization

Apply decomposed fertilizer once a week during the growing season, and apply liquid fertilizer 2-3 times before flowering. Stop fertilizing when the flowers bloom to avoid causing the buds to fall. After the fruit matures, topdressing can be applied every 20 days to promote growth. In winter, due to the cold climate, growth stagnates and fertilization can be suspended.

4. Repotting

It grows very fast and the soil should be changed every spring to ensure growth.
