1. Avoid exposure to the sun

It usually likes high temperature and humid environment, but is afraid of direct sunlight. It should be placed in the shade in summer. In late spring and early autumn, it should be moved to the balcony to bask in the sun so that it can develop well.

2. Avoid alkaline soil cultivation

Soil is the necessary foundation for plant growth, and nutrients are obtained from the soil. Therefore, the soil you choose should be acidic, humus-containing, breathable, and well-drained. It is best not to use alkaline or clay soils, because these soils are not suitable for plant growth and development.

3. Avoid low temperature

Suitable temperature is one of the most important conditions for plant cultivation, and this plant has high temperature requirements, generally around 18 degrees. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the low temperatures in winter, and the plants must be protected from cold and kept warm, otherwise they are very likely to be frostbitten by the low temperature.

4. Avoid alkalinization

It has many large leaves, and the water evaporates quickly after each watering, so it is necessary to replenish water in time. However, the water in your home is mostly slightly alkaline, so after a long period of watering, it will inevitably become alkaline. However, it is acidic, so the plants will gradually turn yellow or grow poorly. Therefore, before watering each time, mixing 8% of edible vinegar with tap water can solve this problem.

5. Avoid dry environment

It can only grow quickly in an environment with suitable ventilation and temperature, so try to place it in a room with north-south ventilation and keep it relatively ventilated.

6. Prevent pests and diseases

At the same time, in addition to paying more attention to maintenance, you must also prevent diseases and pests.
