Zibao's family breeding methods and precautions

Zibao's family breeding methods and precautions

1. Lighting

Zibao likes light, so it should be placed in a sunny place for care. The more light it gets, the darker the color of the leaves will be, and the more beautiful it will be. Usually there should be more than six hours of sunlight per day to meet the needs. But be careful to avoid strong light and not expose to strong sunlight.

2. Watering

The amount of watering during maintenance should change with the seasons. During the spring and autumn growing seasons, more water should be added to keep the soil moist. However, if the temperature is high in summer or low in winter, the amount of water should be reduced. Usually, watering once a month is enough. Water must not accumulate, otherwise the roots will easily rot and affect growth.

3. Fertilization

It does not require much fertilizer to grow. When maintaining it, you only need to apply fertilizer during the growing season, about once a month. Do not apply fertilizer at other times to avoid fertilizer damage affecting growth.

4. Temperature

It has poor cold resistance, so when caring for it, it should be moved indoors in time when the temperature drops in late autumn and placed in a warm place. The temperature should be controlled in winter and kept above 5 degrees to avoid frostbite. Normally, it is best to provide an ambient temperature between 13 and 21 degrees. During the high temperatures in summer, you should sprinkle more water around to cool down, and also pay attention to ventilation.

5. Notes

When caring for it, pay attention to more light and ventilation. If the environment is hot and dark, its leaves will easily turn black and it is also easy to cause leaf spot disease. When discovered, take early prevention and control measures, otherwise it will affect the appearance and later growth.
