How to grow moonflower

How to grow moonflower

1. Sufficient sunlight is required

An environment with sufficient sunlight is suitable for its development. It has certain requirements for light and needs to be exposed to more than 4 hours of sunlight a day. It cannot be in a shady environment for a long time, otherwise it will be affected to a certain extent, causing the flowers to be unable to bloom.

2. Sufficient water is required

The application of water should be divided into seasons. The summer when the temperature is high is the most vigorous growth period. During this period, sufficient water supply should be ensured to support its later growth. Make sure the soil in the pot is slightly moist and a little dry every day.

3. Fertilization should be timely

It has a high demand for nutrients. Apply base fertilizer once for planting. During the growth stage, apply thin fertilizer every 2-3 weeks. You can choose liquid fertilizer. But the concentration should be low, not too high or excessive.

4. Suitable temperature

It likes warmth and cannot tolerate cold. It will be frozen to death if it encounters frosty weather, so the temperature must be kept good. It will grow well within the range of 18-28℃.

5. Dealing with pests and diseases

Powdery mildew and aphids are the pests and diseases that it often suffers from. If you find them, you should take timely measures and spray pesticides to treat them.
