1. Seeding methodThis method usually involves harvesting seeds in October, storing them after drying in the shade, and sowing them in the spring of the following year. Before sowing, soak the seeds in cold water for 2-3 hours, take them out and put them in a cattail bag and rinse them with water 2-3 times a day. After a week, sow the seeds in the soil and cover them with a layer of soil 1-2 cm thick. Do not water the plant, but use the immersion method to replenish water so that the seeds will not be washed away. After the seeds germinate, they can be exposed to sunlight appropriately. 2. Cutting methodIt is best to do it from May to September, and choose a healthy branch with a length of 15-20cm. Do not use too thin branches for cuttings, as they are not easy to survive. In the prepared soil, use chopsticks to poke a small hole, insert the branch into the soil, water it thoroughly, and provide appropriate shade. If it is done in autumn, one-year-old mature branches should be used for cuttings. In winter, you must pay attention to keeping warm to prevent frostbite on the branches. 3. Division methodThis method of propagation is mostly carried out when repotting. It is recommended to dig out the plants in early spring, trim the roots and divide them into multiple clumps, and then plant them separately in potting soil. They are easy to survive. |
