How to grow sea daffodils

1. Maintenance conditions

1. Soil: The soil requirements for the growth of sea daffodils are not high, and they can tolerate a certain degree of barrenness. It will grow better in loose soil containing humus.

2. Sunlight: It likes sunlight. During its growth period, it should be exposed to more light. Appropriate light is conducive to its growth and flowering. When the light is strong in summer, shade is needed to prevent burns from strong light. In spring and autumn, it can receive light all day.

3. Water: The plant is very afraid of waterlogging, so water it according to the dryness and wetness of the soil, and don’t use too much water. During the growing period, you can water it more often, but there should be no accumulation of water in the potting soil.

4. Fertilization: Appropriate fertilization is required during its growth period, and some organic fertilizer should be added to the soil as base fertilizer when planting. During its growth period, it should be applied with organic fertilizer once a month. The concentration of fertilizer applied should not be too high, as it will burn the plants.

2. Prevention and control of pests and diseases

During its growing period, the sea daffodil is easily attacked by pests and diseases, the most common of which are scale insects, longhorn beetles, leaf spot disease, and rust. If you find that the plant is sick or infested with insects, you should use medicine as soon as possible and keep using it. When there are few insects, you can remove them manually, but if there are many insects, you must spray the medicine.
