How often should I water my Aspidistra and how can I grow it well?

1. How often should I water?

How often you water it during maintenance depends on the season. The temperature is different in different seasons, so of course the number of watering times will also be different. Spring is its peak growing season, and it is usually watered every two days. In summer, watering should be increased to once a day, and be careful not to water during the high temperatures at noon. Autumn is divided into early autumn and late autumn. In early autumn, you can do it every two days like in spring, while in late autumn, it should be extended to every three or four days. It will hibernate in winter, so you need to control watering, generally once a week is enough, and the amount of water should also be reduced.

2. How to grow well

1. Suitable temperature: It likes warmth and is afraid of cold. It is best to provide a temperature between 15 and 25 degrees during maintenance. In winter, you should keep warm in time and the temperature should be above 5 degrees.

2. Apply fertilizer in moderation: If you want it to grow well, nutrients are essential. During maintenance, except in winter, it is best to apply diluted fertilizer water once a week and replenish nutrients regularly. Alternatively, you can use rotten leaves as base fertilizer and mix them into the soil to promote growth.

3. Suitable light: It does not like light very much and can grow well in places without sunlight, but the environment must be bright. Especially in summer, you should pay attention to shade, otherwise the leaves will be sunburned.
