How to grow a small potted banyan tree and how to grow it in winter?

1. Breeding methods

1. Light: The small banyan tree is a very light-loving plant. When caring for it, it should be placed in a place with good light and allowed to get as much sun as possible. If there is insufficient light, yellow leaves will appear or even fall off, but be careful to provide adequate shade in the summer and avoid strong sunlight.

2. Watering: When maintaining the plant, just keep the soil moist and there is no need to water it frequently. If there is too much water, water accumulation will easily occur, causing root rot and affecting growth.

3. Soil: It likes loose soil with good air permeability, which can be prepared by mixing garden soil and leaf mold.

4. Fertilization: Fertilize frequently during maintenance to supplement nutrients, especially in the spring and autumn growing seasons. Fertilizers should mainly be nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. Do not splash them onto the leaves when applying. Water in time after application to dilute the fertilizer.

2. Winter maintenance methods

The temperature is lower in winter, and its cold resistance is very poor. It should be moved indoors in time for maintenance, providing a temperature environment above 5 degrees. The temperature difference between morning and evening cannot be greater than 10 degrees, otherwise it will easily lead to the death of the plant. Let it get more sun in this season to improve its resistance. In addition, stop fertilizing, because at this time the plant will almost stop growing, and not only will the plant not absorb the nutrients in the fertilizer, it may also cause fertilizer damage.
