What kind of soil is tidal soil

Tidal soil, also known as "light-colored meadow soil", is a semi-hydromorphic soil mainly distributed on the alluvial plains in the lower reaches of rivers. It is formed by the cultivation and maturation of river alluvial materials. The pH value of the soil is between 6.7-9.0.

The role of tidal soil

The soil in the area where tidal soil is located is deep and the terrain is flat. The properties of this soil are very good and it is adaptable to a wide range of crops. Its main distribution area is my country's grain and cotton base, and this soil plays a very important role.

The advantages of tidal soil are moderate texture, good structure, and it is relatively easy to cultivate into good orchard soil. However, its disadvantages are also obvious, that is, low fertility and poor ability to retain water and fertilizer. If the tidal soil is developed from clay sediments, the permeability of the soil is also very poor.

What is suitable for growing in tidal soil?
