Cultivation methods and precautions of water hibiscus

Water hibiscus is relatively easy to grow. When you first start growing water hibiscus, the water depth should be kept at 3 cm. If the water used is tap water, it is best to leave it for 1-2 days before using it to prevent the temperature difference of the water from being too large and causing damage to the plant.

How to cultivate water hibiscus

1. Seed propagation

Grind off the outer layer of seed coat of healthy seeds, soak the seeds in water, keep the water clean. The water hibiscus will germinate after 7 days, and will take root and be repotted after 14 days. The water for maintenance should not be too deep.

2. Fish tank requirements

Water hibiscus can be planted in a fish tank or a basin, and then pig manure or cake fertilizer can be put at the bottom of the basin as base fertilizer, stir it into a sludge state, and put the sprouts in.

3. Lighting management

Water hibiscus is a light-loving plant. For daily care, you can place it in an area with bright scattered light to ensure sufficient light. Generally, once it is positioned, do not move it at will to avoid affecting coupling and germination.

Water hibiscus maintenance precautions

When caring for water hibiscus, you must pay attention to fertilization. If you want the water hibiscus to grow healthily, you need to add appropriate fertilizers. Generally, top dressing is done once every month. When the water hibiscus has two leaves, it needs to be fertilized again. This will be beneficial to the healthy growth of the water hibiscus.
