Advantages and disadvantages of Sakura Rose

The Sakura Rose is also known as the climbing Sakura Rose. It is a large woody climbing rose that can grow to more than five meters in height. This rose has good branching ability. If it is stretched horizontally, its crown can grow to a maximum of about three meters. Its branches are also stronger than other roses, so it is often used to make flower walls, arches, etc., and is loved by many gardeners.

Advantages of Sakura Rose

Sakura rose has many advantages, such as its beautiful and varied flower colors, which are very charming. When it just blooms, its flowers are deep pink, and after growing for a period of time, they will slowly turn pink and finally white. Therefore, there will often be a grand scene of multi-colored flowers on a tree, which is very beautiful in the sun and very eye-catching.

Disadvantages of Sakura Rose

The flowers of the Sakura Rose are relatively small, with a diameter of about 7 cm. The fragrance is relatively light when it blooms. This rose does not have many petals and the flower shape is relatively thin. It is also easy to turn white, so it needs to be sprayed with pesticides during its growth to prevent disease.

Key points for the maintenance of Sakura

The soil for growing cherry roses should be loose, fertile, and well-drained. It is best to choose slightly acidic soil. Its growth temperature requires about 15-26℃ during the day and about 10-15℃ at night. Note that you should water it more in the summer to cool it down. In winter, it will go into dormancy when the ambient temperature is below 5℃, so be sure to keep it warm in time.
