Geranium cutting method

Geranium cutting method

Without further ado, I will introduce the steps of cuttings to you directly on the picture:

Geranium cutting method

First, find a few plastic cups like this and poke a few small holes in the bottom to allow water to pass through.

Dry the cut geranium branches in a cool place for a day before use.

Fill a plastic cup with soil and insert the cuttings directly into it.

After cutting, place it in a cool place with appropriate light.

It will take about half a month to take root, and you can see the growth of the white roots through the plastic cup.

How to plant geraniums in pots

Once the geranium's root system has grown dense, it can be potted. Follow the steps below.

First, grab the seedlings as shown in the picture.

Turn it upside down with the seedlings facing downward.

Immerse the entire flower pot in water, then loosen your hands slightly to allow the sand to flow into the water through your fingers. The plant can be removed from the pot slowly, and the soil at the roots can be cleaned very cleanly.

All that's left is to transplant it. Pinch the main stem of the geranium with your fingers, hold it upright, and then add soil with your other hand.

Okay, the transplant was successful.
