How to grow black fungus? How to grow black fungus artificially (with detailed steps)

Growing black fungus is a good project for rural entrepreneurship. Black fungus has a high market demand and rich nutritional value. So how to grow black fungus artificially?

Time Selection

The suitable temperature for the fruiting body of black fungus is 20-26 degrees , which makes it suitable to grow black fungus in spring and autumn .

Ingredients

The culture medium can be selected according to local materials. For example, coarse broad-leaved forest wood chips, corn cobs, etc. can be used as the main materials , and then combined with gypsum powder, sucrose, wheat bran and other ingredients.

Commonly used culture medium formula: 78% sawdust, 20% wheat bran, 1% gypsum powder, 1% sucrose. The key to preparing culture medium is to avoid contamination by miscellaneous bacteria , stir evenly, and keep the water content at about 60%.

Bagging

Polystyrene plastic bags are commonly used for bagging, with specifications of 18 cm * 30 cm. When filling, the tightness should be appropriate, not too tight, nor too loose. If it is too tight, the air permeability is poor and the mycelium is difficult to extend. If it is too loose, the water retention is poor. At the same time, the tightness of the entire bag should be consistent from top to bottom.

Sterilization

Sterilization is done by high pressure steam . Put the packed culture bag into the pressure cooker, add enough water, press tightly, and cover tightly. Then, use high fire to cook for 10 hours continuously, and keep the temperature in the pot at 100 degrees during these 10 hours.

Vaccination

Before inoculation, the inoculation tools, inoculation boxes and other objects must be disinfected . The inoculation box can be wiped with alcohol, and the inoculation tools can be burned on an alcohol lamp. In short, the entire inoculation should be performed in a sterile environment.

Only when the temperature of the sterilized culture bag drops below 30 degrees can we move it to the inoculation room or inoculation box to start inoculation.

Bacteria management

The inoculated culture bags are called fungus bags. Move them to the prepared plastic greenhouse and place them in a "well" shape. The temperature in the greenhouse should be 27 degrees for the first three days, which is the mycelium germination stage.

The mycelium develops rapidly. After about 10 days , the mycelium grows vigorously and the indoor temperature needs to be reduced to 25 degrees.

After 15 days of spawning , the metabolism of mycelium accelerates, the temperature inside the bag rises, and the indoor temperature should be reduced to 24 degrees.

After 30 days of spawning , the mycelium enters the reproductive growth and physiological maturity stage, and the indoor temperature is controlled at around 19 degrees.

During the whole process of spawning, ventilation should be done well to ensure oxygen supply to the mycelium. In addition, the bags of miscellaneous bacteria (yellow, green, black) should be picked out.

Make a bed

A soil bed with a length of 10 meters, a width of 1 meter, and a height of 0.3 meters is built for the mushroom bags. A small arch frame is built on the bed with bamboo strips, and the distance between the roof and the mushroom bags is about 30 centimeters. In addition, a walking path should be left between the beds for easy operation.

Open air management

After the mushroom bags are cut with a blade , they are evenly placed upright on the soil bed . There are about 22-24 bags per square meter, and the humidity in the greenhouse is maintained between 85% and 90%. At the same time, ventilation is scheduled at 9 am and 15 pm every day, and each ventilation lasts 30 minutes.

In addition, use the straw curtains according to the season and temperature. In summer, when the sunlight is strong, cover the plants tightly to reduce the light and cool down the plants. In autumn, when the sunlight is weak, cover the plants sparsely to allow the fruiting bodies to receive more light and heat.

Harvest at the right time

When there are white spores inside the leaves of the fungus and the edges are slightly curled inward, it can be harvested . Stop spraying water the day before harvesting to facilitate harvesting and taking out the roots of the fungus.
