How to transplant tiger skin orchid

1. Pot soil preparation

Tiger Piran grows best in well-drained, fertile, loose and humus-rich sandy soil. We can mix garden soil, coal slag, leaf mold, river sand and a small amount of bean cake crumbs to make the culture soil.

When choosing a repot, you can choose a clay or tile pot of appropriate size with good drainage and air permeability . Before filling the pot with soil, cover the bottom of the pot with a layer of broken tiles to facilitate drainage.

2. Remove the pot

Remove the plant from the pot gently to avoid damaging the roots. After digging the snake plant out of the original soil, remove the soil attached to the roots. Use sterilized scissors to cut off rotten roots, dead roots and overly dense roots , apply carbendazim to the wound for disinfection , and place it in a ventilated place to dry until the wound shrinks.

3. Planting

After the wound of the plant shrinks, place it in the center of the flowerpot. Add soil layer by layer until it is 3 cm away from the edge of the flowerpot, compact the soil so that the roots and soil are tightly combined, and then pour in rooting water to complete the planting. After planting, move the tiger skin orchid to a place with good ventilation and scattered light for maintenance, and keep the soil moist during the period.
