The best time to plant is in spring and autumn . In summer, it needs to be shaded, and in winter, it needs to be planted in a greenhouse.

Lettuce growing temperature

Lettuce is a vegetable that likes to grow in a cool environment. It is not cold-resistant or heat-resistant. The most suitable growth temperature is between 15 and 30 degrees. When the temperature is higher than 30 degrees, it will hardly germinate. The lowest temperature for seed germination is 4 degrees. It is better to control it at 18 to 20 degrees during the day and 12 to 14 degrees at night.

Lettuce growth cycle

The growth cycle of lettuce is generally about fifty days, and it mainly includes four stages: germination stage, seedling stage, plant growth stage and product organ formation stage. The growth cycle of each variety is different. The growth period of head lettuce takes one hundred to one hundred and twenty days.
