Spring breeding and maintenance methods

Adequate lighting

Spring is the peak growth season for young money trees, so it is necessary to ensure sufficient light and water and fertilizer supply. When the outdoor temperature is stable at above 15℃, you can decide whether to repot the plants based on their growth and move the potted plants to a semi-shaded area on the balcony or a brightly lit area indoors for maintenance. After the temperature rises in late spring, move the plants to a place with sunlight in the morning and evening for maintenance.

Stay hydrated

Usually, water alternately between dry and wet seasons to keep the soil moist, and spray water frequently to increase air humidity.

Fertilization

Reduce or even eliminate fertilization in spring. If you find that the leaves are turning yellow, you should apply foliar fertilizer in time. You can spray 500 times urea solution on the leaves 1 to 2 times to supplement nutrients.

Shade and watering

The money tree likes high temperatures but cannot tolerate scorching sun. During the high temperatures in summer, place the plant in a semi-shaded place for maintenance, water it in time to ensure the soil is moist, and spray water appropriately to increase the air humidity. Stop fertilizing during hot seasons.

Breeding at the right time

June to July is the best season for the reproduction of the money tree. You can use the cutting propagation method. Select 10 to 15 cm branches grown in the current year, leave 2 to 3 leaves on the top, insert them into the soil, and they will take root and grow into seedlings in about 30 days.

Autumn breeding and maintenance methods

In autumn, the plants must be guaranteed sufficient light and timely water and fertilizer. When the temperature drops, the plant should be moved indoors to a bright place for maintenance. Winter breeding and maintenance methods

Light moisture

Ensure sufficient light in winter. If it is cloudy for consecutive days, artificial light can be added. When the temperature is high at noon, spray all around to increase the air humidity. Adult plants need to control watering, and water them when the soil is dry, but water the leaves frequently.
