How to grow mango seeds in pots

Mango is a very common fruit. The remaining cores after eating mangoes can actually be replanted into fruit pots . However, you cannot directly plant the leftover mango cores in the pots. They need to be processed before planting, otherwise they will rot once buried in the soil and will attract insects.

Mango potted plants need to be maintained for 4-7 years before they can bear fruit. If you want the mango potted plants to bear fruit quickly, you need to provide them with suitable growth soil, as well as sufficient light, water and fertilizer, so that the fruit can grow faster.

How to plant mango seeds

Step 1 : If you want to plant mango cores in pots, you need to clean them, remove the pulp stuck on them, and then place them in a well-ventilated place to dry. After the mango cores have dried, peel off the outer layer of the core so that the seeds can grow faster.

Step 2. After the seeds are taken out, germinate them in clean water. Don't be impatient to bury the seeds in the soil, otherwise the seeds will be difficult to germinate and affect their later growth. Wait until some tender sprouts come out of the seeds, and then use the planting pots to sow them.

Step 3 : Prepare loose, fertile, and well-drained soil for planting mangoes. When planting, be sure to place the side with the tender buds facing up, and then add some soil to complete the planting process.

Step 4. Mango seeds must be carefully cared for after sowing. They like to grow in a relatively humid environment, so pay attention to watering the potted plants from time to time, especially in the dry season, you can spray water appropriately, and cover them with a thin layer of plastic wrap in winter to keep them warm.
