Method for germination of yellow fruit seeds

Step 1 : Select ripe kumquat fruits, take out the kumquat seeds, wash off the pulp and sugar on the seeds with water, and soak them in clean water for about 3 days.

Step 2 : Then dry the kumquat seeds, bury them in the soil with the dark end facing up and the green part facing down. Note that you only need to cover one-third of the green part with the soil.

Step 3 : Cover the flower pot with non-woven fabric, poke a few holes for ventilation, spray water on the non-woven fabric to keep the surface moist, and move the flower pot to a warm and sunny place.

Step 4 : Remember to spray the flowerpot with water in the morning and evening. After 5-7 days, you will see the kumquat seeds germinate, and then you can remove the non-woven fabric.

The germination process of yellow fruit seeds

About a week after planting the kumquat seeds, you can see small green sprouts breaking out of the soil. Generally, you can see mature seedlings in about half a month. If you maintain good temperature and humidity, the kumquat seedlings will grow very fast.
