How to plant baby's breath and how to arrange it in a vase

How to plant baby's breath and how to arrange it in a vase

1. Planting method

1. Soil selection: Before planting, choose soil suitable for its growth. Soil with good drainage should be used, which can be mixed with humus, coarse sand and garden soil in a ratio of 3:2:1. After that, water the soil thoroughly.

2. Seeds: When planting, choose full seeds and try not to use old seeds. After selecting the seeds, they need to be disinfected. Generally, potassium permanganate can be used for disinfection. After disinfection, they should be placed in a ventilated place to dry for about 3 days.

3. Planting: When you start planting, place the seeds evenly on the soil surface. Each seed should not be too close together, and there should be a distance of 3 cm between them. Then cover the seeds with a layer of soil to ensure that the germination temperature is around 15-20℃. When the baby's breath seedlings grow to 10cm, they can be transplanted.

2. How to arrange flowers in a vase

If you want the baby's breath in the vase to look better, you need to do some pruning in advance. The first thing is to cut the bottom of the flower branch diagonally. The purpose of doing this is to allow it to absorb water better. Otherwise, it will wither if it cannot absorb water, which will directly affect its ornamental value. The length of each flower branch can be different. The middle part can be longer, and the surrounding ones can be shorter, so that it looks better in the vase.
