Rooting time of sunflower cuttings

Sunflowers can be propagated by cuttings between March and April. Before cuttings, the cuttings must be pruned, the sunflower branches must be soaked in rooting liquid, then dried, and then propagated into breathable soil. Pay attention to keeping the soil moist and warm, so that the sunflowers can take root in about 20 to 30 days.

How to root sunflower cuttings

Before cuttings of sunflowers, you need to prepare the soil. It is recommended to choose soil that is air-permeable, loose, breathable and has strong drainage as the cutting medium. Such soil can ensure better growth of sunflowers, but the soil must be disinfected and sterilized to avoid affecting the cuttings.

2. Prepare the soil

Sunflowers are not picky about the soil. Any soil can be used as long as it is loose and breathable. If it is inconvenient for you to collect soil, you can also directly purchase nutrient soil. A large bag of nutrient soil can be used to plant sunflower cuttings.
