Peony seeds are usually planted between August and October in summer and autumn every year. It is not allowed to be planted too early or too late. 1. Before planting peony seeds, select suitable and healthy seeds, soak them in warm water for 1-2 days, eliminate some of the shriveled seeds, take out the soaked seeds, place them in a ventilated place to dry naturally and then plant them.

2. When planting the processed peony seeds, you can add some wood ash in an appropriate amount, sow the seeds evenly into the soil, cover them with a layer of fine soil, and finally cover them with a layer of plastic wrap. This can reduce water evaporation and allow it to germinate better.

Precautions for planting peony seeds

One thing that requires special attention with peony seeds is the handling of the seeds. If you cannot finish planting them at the time and some of the seeds need to be temporarily preserved, these seeds should be placed in the sand in time. This way, they can be preserved for about half a month and will not affect subsequent planting.
