How long does it take for coriander seeds to germinate?

Coriander is suitable for growing in a warm climate environment. The best temperature for coriander seeds to germinate is 20-25℃, so choose spring and autumn to sow them.

When the temperature, humidity and soil thickness are suitable, coriander seeds germinate quickly, generally within 7-14 days. The longer the seeds are in the soil, the more likely they are to be eaten by underground pests, which is not conducive to the germination and growth of coriander seeds.

Coriander seed germination time

Coriander seeds usually germinate in about 10 days after planting. We can speed up the germination rate through artificial measures. One of the measures is germination. Select coriander seeds with full texture and dry them in the sun for about 2 hours.

Then soak the rapeseed in warm water at 20-30℃ for 1 day, then take out the seeds, drain the water and put them into a velvet bag soaked in clean water, and then mix the seeds with 800 times diluted new lipid film.

The second measure is to prepare the soil. Choose loose, fertile, and breathable soil, sow the seeds directly into the soil, cover it with a layer of film, and keep the soil moist. The coriander will sprout in about 10 days.

Management of coriander seeds after germination

After the coriander seeds germinate, maintenance and management should be strengthened. Before fertilizing coriander, the fertilizer should be diluted with clean water to prevent the high fertilizer concentration from burning the roots and seedlings. Coriander can grow at low temperatures for a period of time, but it is best to control the temperature at 17-20 degrees during planting, which can make the coriander grow better.
