Where do mango trees grow?

Mango trees are suitable for growing on hillsides between 200-1300 meters above sea level, or in forests. Mangoes like to grow in high temperature environments. Mango trees are relatively drought-resistant. Excessive water will cause them to have too much nutrition, which is not conducive to their fruiting.

Mango trees generally grow in tropical, subtropical and tropical regions, mainly in Southeast Asian countries, Australia and other regions. They are currently widely planted in Yunnan, Hainan, Taiwan and other regions in my country.

Mango tree growth environment

1. Temperature

Mango trees like to grow in a high temperature environment and are not cold-resistant. The effective temperature for their growth is between 15-35°C, and the most suitable temperature for their growth is between 24-27°C. They bloom above 20°C, so that they can bear fruit normally.

2. Moisture

Mango trees are suitable for growing in arid environments, especially places with relatively little rainfall. At the same time, relatively good irrigation conditions are required, which is an ideal planting area.

3. Lighting

Mango trees like to grow under sufficient sunlight. Warm weather is conducive to pollination and fertilization, resulting in a high fruit-bearing rate. The fruits are beautiful in color and sweet in flavor.

4. Soil

When planting mango trees, they need to be planted in land with deep soil, good drainage, and low groundwater level. The soil must be rich in organic matter.
