How to Plant Celery Seeds

1. Germination

Before sowing, celery should be soaked in clean water for 12 to 24 hours, then placed in a ventilated place to dry for a while. Wrap the seeds with a wet towel and place them in a warm environment. Be careful to keep the towel moist. Wait until the seeds sprout before sowing.

2. Planting

Prepare loose and fertile soil, apply some base fertilizer in advance to improve fertility, and water it sufficiently. Sow the sprouting seeds in the soil, cover them evenly with a thin layer of soil, and pay attention to keeping the soil moist. Generally, water it every 1 to 2 days.

Notes on daily management of celery

1. Provide water: During the growth of celery, you can water the plant every 2-3 days. Keep the soil moist during watering to provide the celery with the water it needs for growth and enable the plant to grow better.

2. Provide nutrients: During the growth period of celery, nitrogen fertilizer needs to be applied to the plant every 15 days or so to allow the celery to absorb sufficient nutrients. During the fertilization process, the soil can be turned over to increase the soil's air permeability, which is beneficial to the breathing of the roots.

3. Provide sunlight: Celery cannot do without sunlight during its growth. During daily maintenance, you can place the plant in a sunny environment and let the celery bask in the sun to enable it to photosynthesize and promote plant growth.
