Profits and benefits of growing tea oil

It takes about three years for tea oil to grow from planting to fruiting. The care cost per mu of land is about 2,700 yuan. The plants have a productive period of 5-7 years. After entering the productive period, the profit per mu of land can reach about 4,800-9,600 yuan.

High-yield cultivation techniques for tea oil

1. Site selection

If you want to obtain high yields of tea oil, it is best to plant it in red soil or red-yellow soil. The soil requirements should be loose, fertile, moist, and well-drained. Avoid planting in low-lying areas.

2. Land preparation

Before planting, you need to dig a trench for the fish. The depth of the trench should be about 60-70 cm. If it is a slope, the outside should be high and the inside should be low, with a width of about 2 meters.

3. Apply basal fertilizer

After land preparation is completed, an appropriate amount of farmyard manure should be applied as base fertilizer. The fertilizer and soil should be mixed evenly and then backfilled. The soil should preferably be about 10-15 cm above the ground surface.
