Growth habits of taroThe growth process of taro is divided into three stages: germination stage, seedling stage and plant and bulb formation stage. Taro evolved from an aquatic plant and grows in a suitable environment with moist soil and relative air humidity. Since it absorbs a large amount of water during the growing period, taro is not drought-tolerant. Taro needs to consume a lot of fertilizer during the growth period. In addition to fertilizing before sowing, top dressing should be carried out several times. In the early stage, nitrogen fertilizer is mainly used to lay a good foundation for the development of taro. In the later stage, more potassium phosphate fertilizer is consumed. Where does taro like to grow?Taro was first produced in swamp areas in tropical places such as my country, India, and the Malaysian Peninsula. Now it is abundant in both the north and south of my country and can be grown. It is regarded as an important vegetable and food crop in my country and other countries and regions, and is a nutritious product suitable for people of all ages. Taro growing environment and conditions1. Temperature Taro grows in a hot and humid environment, generally requiring around 20~25°C. Different varieties of taro have different requirements for temperature and humidity, but the difference is not too big. 2. Lighting Taro prefers a cool environment and has no requirements for light. It can grow normally in dim light conditions, but the light intensity and light time still have some slight effects on taro. 3. Soil Taro is not very demanding on the soil. It can be planted on any flat land that is convenient for irrigation. As long as the soil is fertile, it is suitable for the growth of taro. |
