Tomato Planting Time

When planting tomatoes, you need to arrange the planting time reasonably according to the climate and temperature changes in different regions. Usually, they are planted in spring from February to May. If it is autumn and winter, it can be planted around July to September. As for winter and spring, it is planted from November to February of the following year.

Tomato Planting Methods

1. Soaking seeds for germination: Before sowing tomato seeds, soak the seeds in clean water for about two hours, then put them in warm water at about 50-60 degrees, stirring constantly for about 15 minutes.

2. Sowing method: After processing, the tomato seeds can be sown in the seedbed. They should not be planted too densely, and the soil should be kept moist and the temperature should be controlled at around 22-28 degrees.

3. Farm management: Tomatoes will sprout about 3-4 days after sowing. After the seedlings grow 2-3 true leaves, they can be transplanted. During transplanting, the ground temperature needs to be kept above 10 degrees.

Tomato planting precautions

1. During the sowing period of tomatoes, you need to pay attention to ensuring sufficient sunlight and timely weeding to avoid excessive nutrient consumption and affect the growth of seedlings.

2. Before planting tomatoes, sufficient base fertilizer needs to be applied. No top dressing is needed in the later stage. It should be noted that after fertilizing, watering must be done in time.
