Honeysuckle is best sown in spring in April. If planted in a greenhouse, the planting time can be advanced.

1. Germination and seedling raising

When planting honey loquat, you need to choose plump, round and disease-free seeds, soak them in 45-degree warm water for 4-6 hours to allow them to absorb enough water, then place the honey loquat seeds in an environment with a temperature of 30 degrees and wait for 7-14 days, the honey loquat seeds will germinate.

2. Turn over the soil and apply fertilizer

Honeydew melon is suitable for growing in fertile soil with good drainage. When planting honeydew melon, you need to plow the land 30-40 cm first to make it softer and more breathable, and then apply decomposed farmyard manure, wood ash or superphosphate to the soil to make it more fertile and promote the vigorous growth of honeydew melon.

3. Planting method

When planting honey loach, you need to plant the seedlings in the soil and then water them thoroughly. You can use unpolluted mineral water or well water to keep the soil moist, and cover it with a layer of mulch to keep the soil temperature above 15°C to promote the healthy growth of honey loach.

Precautions for planting honeysuckle

After planting the honey melon, maintenance measures must be taken to provide sufficient nutrients during the growth process. It needs to be watered with a thin layer of fertilizer every 7-10 days to speed up the growth of the plant. After the honey melon bears fruit, it needs to be watered once a week and potassium nitrate compound fertilizer should be applied every two weeks to increase its yield.
