Cherry likes shade or sunlight

Do cherries prefer shade or sun?

Cherry is a sun-loving plant. The plant needs sufficient sunlight to grow. If the breeding environment can ensure sufficient light, the plant will be able to bloom and bear fruit better and more, the fruit color will be brighter, and the quality will be higher.

Cherries in the sun

Cherries have high requirements for light. The plants are very light-loving and require about 2600-2800 hours of sunshine per year. The plant's requirements for light are higher than other fruit trees.

Cherries can be exposed to the sun. If not, the plants will not germinate easily. However, they cannot be exposed to direct sunlight. When caring for them in the summer, they need appropriate shade to prevent the trees from being sunburned.
