Planting time of milk block grape seeds

Grape seeds can be sown in early spring, March to April. Two months before sowing, mix the seeds with 3 to 4 times the amount of clean river sand and store them in sand under suitable temperature, humidity and air conditions. Generally, grape seeds need to be stored in wet sand at a low temperature of -3℃ to 5℃ and a water content of less than 5% for about 60 days to complete the after-ripening stage.

Milk block grape seed planting method and process

Grape seed cleaning: Wash the grape seeds with clean water, soak them in distilled water for 2 weeks, then spread the seeds flat in a prepared flowerpot, cover the seeds with about 2 cm thick soil, and then cover them with a layer of pebbles. You can cover the flowerpot with a plastic bag and place it in a warm and sunny place for maintenance. It will germinate in 1 to 2 weeks.

Sowing and maintenance: Pour the prepared soil into the flowerpot, spread the soaked seeds on the soil after leveling it, and then spread about 2 cm thick culture soil on the seeds. You can spread a layer of fine pebbles on the surface of the culture soil, water the pot once after sowing, and then cover the pot with a plastic bag and place it in a warm, sunny place for maintenance. The seeds will germinate in about 1 to 2 weeks.

Precautions for planting milk block grape seeds

During the storage of seeds in sand, pay attention to check the temperature and humidity in the sand and whether there is rodent damage, especially after the Spring Festival, when the temperature continues to rise. If the temperature exceeds 5°C and the humidity exceeds 10%, turn the seeds over 1 to 2 times to prevent mold.
