1. Adequate lighting

If you want to grow large-leafed cymbidium orchid successfully, you need to provide sufficient light. You can place it in a well-lit place and let it receive more light. The more sunlight it receives, the more nutrients it can synthesize, so that it can bloom better. It should not be placed under strong light during the flowering period, and it is suitable to provide bright diffuse light maintenance.

2. Stay warm

In addition to light, temperature is also an important factor affecting the flowering of large-leaf Cymbidium. If the environment is too cold, it cannot bloom normally. Only when the ambient temperature of its maintenance is controlled between 10-25℃ can it bloom smoothly. Its flowering period is in spring, so pay attention to keep it warm in spring every year and don't let it catch cold.

3. Adequate nutrients

In addition to environmental conditions such as light and temperature, large-leaf cymbidium also needs certain nutrient support for flowering. Therefore, it is necessary to apply fertilizer in time before the flowering period. The fertilizer should be high in phosphorus and potassium content and low in nitrogen content. Generally speaking, when the flowering period is approaching, 2-3 additional phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be applied, which can help it bloom better.
