How to make bamboo take root quickly

How to quickly root bamboo

If you want bamboo to take root quickly, you need to keep a slope when pruning. The upper branches are fresher and keep a slope. The larger the slope, the more water and nutrients it can absorb in the water.

After trimming the bamboo, place it directly in the cutting container. When adding water, make sure it is covered by at least five centimeters to increase the rooting area of the bamboo. Add a little rooting liquid to the water. Change the water every two or three days. Roots will start to grow in about ten days, and the root system will be fully grown in about 20 days.

Bamboo roots and sprouts quickly

If you want bamboo to take root quickly, you can give it vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 can stimulate the roots of plants and make them take root and sprout quickly. Put the rhizomes of bamboo in the dissolved vitamin B12 solution and soak it for 10 minutes to make it take root quickly.

Hydroponic bamboo rooting

Remove some of the leaves near the bottom of the bamboo, and use a pair of sharp scissors to cut it diagonally, so that it has an oblique cut instead of a flat cut, which can increase the water absorption area.

Throw an iron nail into the bamboo hydroponic vase, then insert the bamboo, and then place it away from the TV and air conditioner outlet, and add water directly when water is needed.

Bamboo cutting rooting

When taking bamboo cuttings, choose strong branches, about 15 to 20 cm long. After cutting, cut off the petioles under the branches to reduce water consumption.

You also need to prepare a few pieces of foam, because bamboo is propagated by floating water cuttings. Poke a few small holes in the foam, insert the cuttings, and then place them in clean water.

When caring for the bamboo in the later stage, you need to provide it with a well-ventilated and warm environment. It will take root in about a month, and then you can transplant it into the potting soil after the root system is stable.
