Temperature is very important for the growth of Panax notoginseng. The temperature requirements of Panax notoginseng are different in different growth stages. When the Panax notoginseng seedlings break through the soil, the temperature should be controlled at around 22 degrees and the soil temperature should be maintained at 12 degrees. If the temperature is below zero, it will cause frost damage to the seedlings.

Then during the growth period of Panax notoginseng, the temperature is maintained at 24 degrees, and the soil temperature needs to be controlled at around 18 degrees. If the temperature is higher than 32 degrees for a long time, it will also affect the growth of Panax notoginseng seedlings.

1. Soil

Panax notoginseng’s requirements for soil are not very strict. Generally, except for overly acidic soil and heavy clay soil, other types of soil can be used to grow Panax notoginseng normally.

2. Lighting

Light is also a planting condition that cannot be ignored when planting Panax notoginseng. When planting Panax notoginseng, a certain degree of shade must be ensured, and the sun must not be allowed to shine directly on Panax notoginseng for a long time, otherwise it will easily cause burns to the Panax notoginseng leaves.

3. Moisture

Panax notoginseng has a great demand for water during its growth. When planting Panax notoginseng, the moisture content in the soil of the seedbed should be maintained at around 28%, and the minimum moisture content should not be lower than 20%, otherwise the Panax notoginseng plants will wilt and lack water.
