The leaf lobes of the miniature coconut are lanceolate and dark green. It is about 14-22 cm long and 2-3 cm wide. If the two are placed together, they can be clearly seen.

3. Different flowers: When the Areca palm blooms, the flower petals are cones, golden in color, and ovoid in shape overall. The miniature coconut palm has a fleshy spike inflorescence with yellow flowers that are shaped like small balls. Although they are both foliage plants, they can be easily distinguished when they bloom.
