When you buy a newly purchased cactus, you should first check the roots of the plant. If there are wounds, you need to dry it in the sun and disinfect it. Then find a flowerpot with drainage holes and fill it with clean and well-breathed soil.

In addition to ordinary fertilizers, you can also use strong root water and water it regularly. The light must be sufficient, but not too strong. The temperature should be around 20 degrees, and the temperature difference should not be too large. Increase the air humidity at night, and pay attention to preventing the occurrence of diseases and pests.

Precautions for potted cactus cultivation

Cactus potted plants should be moved indoors for maintenance in winter, and the room temperature must be kept above 5℃ so that they can safely overwinter. Otherwise, the plants will easily be frostbitten. Also, be careful not to water them too much. It is best not to water them at all. The soil in the pot should be relatively dry, otherwise the roots will easily rot. Do not water them too much when watering.
