It is suitable for planting in areas with deep, fertile and loose soil, a pH value of 5.5-7.0, and an orchard slope of less than 25 degrees. It likes a warm and sunny growing environment.

Ugly orange is suitable for planting in areas with an annual average temperature above 16.5 degrees. It can be planted in mid-subtropical areas, but it is most suitable in central and southern subtropical areas with an annual average temperature above 17.5 degrees.
