How long is the growth cycle of aloe vera?

Introduction to Aloe Vera Growth

Aloe vera is mainly produced in Taiwan, Guangdong, Sichuan, Yunnan and other places, and abroad it is mainly produced in Malaysia, India and the African continent.

Aloe vera growth cycle

Aloe plants grow for more than three years, and around May, they will begin to sprout and open small flowers. Even in winter when the indoor temperature is high, you can still see aloe flowers blooming.

Aloe vera growth rate

Aloe vera should be harvested after it has grown for a year. This means that the aloe vera has grown to maturity and its leaves are relatively full. After sowing aloe vera seeds in spring, aloe vera will grow into small seedlings. Aloe vera grows fastest from April to June and from August to September, and can grow up to 90 cm.

Aloe vera growth cycle management

If aloe vera is planted well, it can still produce 2,000-3,000 kilograms per acre. This is just an estimate because different water quality, soil, temperature, etc. may cause different aloe vera yields.

Temperature management: Aloe vera grows best in an environment of 20-30 degrees. If the temperature is not very high in summer, it can continue to grow. But it usually stops growing in winter.

Fertilization management: You can choose organic fertilizers such as bean cake and chicken manure to give aloe vera fertilizer, usually once every two months, but do not fertilize from November to March, because the root activity of aloe vera is temporarily stopped at this time.
