Bupleurum growth environment and conditions

Bupleurum is more suitable for growing in a warm climate environment. It is more common in sandy grasslands, dune meadows and sparse forests on sunny slopes. It needs sufficient water environment during maintenance, which is more conducive to its growth. It is mainly distributed in Northeast China, North China, Northwest China, East China, Hubei, Sichuan and other places.

Bupleurum prefers a warm and humid growing environment. It has strong adaptability and is relatively cold-resistant and drought-resistant. When caring for it, it needs to be watered appropriately and water accumulation should not occur.

Bupleurum is a thermophilic plant and can be grown in an environment with an annual average temperature of 11-20 degrees. Its seeds require a minimum temperature of 10 degrees to germinate. The most suitable temperature is between 20-25 degrees, and it can withstand an environment of 32 degrees.

The growth process of Bupleurum

Bupleurum is generally propagated by seeds, and it needs a suitable temperature environment when growing. It takes about 10-12 days for the seedlings to emerge. July to September each year is its flowering season. In August, its fruits will slowly mature. It needs sufficient sunlight when caring for it.

Bupleurum can be planted in spring and winter respectively. Due to different climatic conditions in different regions, the planting time will also vary. It is generally planted in April in the south and in May in the north. It is planted through seed propagation and requires loose and fertile soil.
