Kirin crown breeding method

The crown of unicorns, also known as the iron malus, belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family and is a common ornamental plant. When propagating, it is usually propagated by cuttings, which is usually carried out in May and June each year. It requires relatively sturdy branches and the temperature must be kept at around 25 degrees. It will take root in about a month.

Kirin crown breeding method

Kirin crown prefers a warm growing environment and has poor cold resistance, so it needs to be moved indoors for maintenance in winter. The temperature cannot be lower than 5 degrees, and it must have sufficient sunlight at ordinary times. This will make it easier to bloom in the next year. Loose sandy soil is generally used when planting.

Watering method

The watering of Kirin Crown is generally based on the season. When it is first planted, it needs to be watered every 2-3 days. In summer and autumn, the amount of watering needs to be appropriately increased, and in spring and winter, watering needs to be reduced.

Fertilization method

Kirin crown does not have a very high demand for fertilizer, so when fertilizing, you should apply it in small amounts, and be sure to apply light fertilizer. Fertilizing needs to be stopped when the temperature is below 12 degrees in winter.

Pruning methods

When the Kirin Crown is growing, it generally does not need to be pruned, because the wounds are difficult to heal after pruning, and its branches and leaves are poisonous, so you need to be careful when pruning.

Things to note when breeding Kirin crown

When caring for the Kirin Crown, you need to be careful and apply fertilizer in small amounts, otherwise it will cause fertilizer damage. It is best to place it in a place with good lighting and good ventilation to reduce the occurrence of diseases and pests.
