Origin and planting of water chestnut

Lingui, Yangshuo, Lingchuan, Xing'an, Guilin and other places in my country are the main production areas of water chestnuts. Among them, Guilin water chestnuts are more famous. The water chestnuts here are characterized by thin skin, thick meat and bright color.

Water chestnut can be planted around April in spring. The temperature should be above 10℃. The plant has high requirements for geological soil and is more suitable for planting in loose, fertile and compact soil.
